My background and how I got started...
I spent over a decade in corporate being groomed for the executive fast track in one of the largest companies in the world. Every 12-18 months I was relocated and given a new leadership assignment in the company so that I could have a well rounded approach and solid understanding of all the moving parts to keep a company thriving. My degree is in engineering and my business background includes sales, marketing, customer service, supervising, strategic planning, finance and technology.
Moving to California and going through a divorce completely changed my life. Instead of climbing the corporate ladder towards a glass ceiling, I realized that my unique training and skill set could help empower other women, especially small business owners. So I started helping women grow their businesses.
I noticed many of my favorite clients were women in professional services focused on helping others.
I started studying a variety of industries like therapy, coaching, book publishing, public speaking, and online marketing so I could understand all the red tape and restrictions to help women powerfully break out of traditional models and really create themselves as an expert and leader in their field, with their unique essence at the core of growing the business of their dreams.
In my private mentoring work I started seeing women grow bolder beyond what they knew was possible for themselves. When they finally got the support they deserved, their businesses took off through giving talks, hosting workshops, raising their rates, creating online courses, leading retreats, building their following and launching their books.
